Hand Enclosing

As is the case with some mailing campaigns, the mail piece cannot be enclosed by machine. In these instances, we have a bench operation of handworkers, which will affix address labels and enclose the mailpiece by hand. To ensure the quality is kept to our high standard, quality control personnel, check the work being done on a regular basis.

Machine Enclosing

As last in the production line, all previous delays impact on the mailing house and we have to make up the time to meet the clients deadlines.Automated enclosing is cheaper and quicker than hand enclosing. At ImpaktMMD, we have the machinery capable of enclosing up to C4 envelopes and upto six insertions in one run.We also have the technology in place to camera match items (upto 2 items which have been personalised) by machine up to C4. This saves the time of having to match the items and hand then enclosing by hand.When planning a mailing campaign, please remember that the materials have to be suitable for enclosing by machine. Envelopes should be ‘wallet gummed’, and material folded correctly. Should you have any doubts, please contact us and we will be happy to advise you.
